Yardley Country Club and its members, led by the Dansbury Family and golf pro Jeff Orleski will be hosting their 2013 Cancer Awareness Golf Tournament –see below for details.
The Dansbury family’s support is inspired by their sister, mother and daughter, Peg Howe, our long time Jimmy V supporter and the 9th Annual Jimmy V CYO Classic honoree……..When Peg spoke at the event she was recognized on her desire to be an advocate for uterine cancer and was also at the 4 day event with non-stop cheering for her daughter Kylie and all of the players……..Sadly Peg passed away a few short months after the event.
We are flattered and proud to announce that proceeds from the event will be donated to the Philadelphia Friends of V and targeted for research for cancer that has affected Peg and other members of the Yardley Country Club community.

WHERE: Yardley Country Club
DATE: Saturday September 28th
TIME: 12:00 PM Registration; 1:00 PM Shotgun Start
FORMAT: 4 Person Scramble (Staff will pair singles/twosomes)
HANDICAP: 10% of the teams combined course handicap
COST: $90 per player -$20 from each entry will go directly to the Philadelphia Friends of V Foundation for Cancer Research-Includes golf/prizes/on course beverages/dinner-There will be live music featuring the Diablo Sandwich Band!
