In Loving Memory of one of our Jimmy V Alums

On Thursday October 30, 2014 the Philadelphia Friends of V family tragically lost Katie Abel. Katie was one of the original Jimmy V Alumni who played in the first Jimmy V games as a 7th grader and has come back every year since to give back and be part of the event. Katie made every interaction personal, a testament to her genuine care for others. She lived her life with a unique grace in her heart and a permanent smile on her face. Katie was full of life, happiness, and love, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
